Hi, I’m Lucas

I’m a Copywriter and Producer from San Diego, CA. After graduating from San Diego State University, majoring in Television and Film, I moved to Brazil to play football for Vasco da Gama in Rio de Janeiro.

After two years in Brazil, I came back home and eventually made my way to San Francisco, where I got my foot in the door at KNBR sports radio station, covering the Giants, Warriors and 49ers. I was a sound board operator and producer who helped organize commercials and write personal ads for the hosts. While working at KNBR, my friend and I started a podcast called “Degenlife”, covering current events in sports, interviewing professional athletes, and discussing sports gambling.

In 2020, I left KNBR during the pandemic, and drove across the country to create a docuseries called “SECovid”. Covering college football in the south, I went to a different SEC football game each week and created an episode surrounding each game.

Returning to San Diego after months on the road, I’ve been doing freelance work while tending bar. Some of that work includes a promotional video for the San Diego Padres, preparing for their 2021 season, creative campaigns for OB Beans Coffee, KMF Athletics, and more. All content below.
